REFERENCE CENTRE

The MHAS Archive is a private centre that is open to the public, in accordance with the Castilla y León laws on archives, which is located in the Salamanca Motor Museum. The Reference Centre is a large space devoted to giving users and researchers the access to information about the museum’s theme, and it includes a library with several sections, a newspaper and magazine library, technical documentation and visual material, etc. Public consultation is allowed, apart from private and personal documentation, which is only accessible for research purposes and under a privacy clause, as is set forth in Art. 37.2 of Act 30/1992, dated 26th of November, of Legal Regime for the Public Administrations and General Administrative Procedures (B.O.E. 27-11-92).

Act 6/1991, dated 19th of April, 1991, which regulates the archives and documentary heritage, in Chapter II, Art. 21; and the Copyright Act, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, dated 12th of April, modified by Act 23/2006, dated 7th of July, Art. 37. For reasons of safety and the improvement of the services provided by the archive, users must submit a written request addressed to the Gómez Planche Foundation, explaining and justifying their reasons for accessing the material. This form can be submitted digitally prior to any visit, and the users will receive an appointment to visit the archive or, if impossible, to have their query solved
